PokerStars EPT Barcelona final table set

The European Poker Tour Barcelona tournament is one of the most coveted titles on the now 7-year old poker tour. With a massive field of 758 players registering for the Main Event at the Casino de Barcelona it was unlikely that the final table would contain a number of big name poker pros, but few expected the almost completely anonymous group of 24 players that started Day 4 of the tournament.

And now that the final table is set the poker world will likely become familiar with a new star or two, as very little is known regarding the eight remaining players in the EPT Barcelona Championship.

Here is a look at the 8 players who made the European Poker Tour Barcelona final table:

1.    Giuseppe Pantaleo — 5,655,000
2.    Konstantin Puchkov — 4,160,000
3.    Jesus Cortes Lizano — 3,800,000
4.    Shander De Vries — 3,120,000
5.    Kent Lundmark — 3,025,000
6.    6hor Stang — 1,290,000
7.    Georgios Skotadis — 1,105,000
8.    Francesco Notaro — 745,000

When play resumes tomorrow at Noon local time we are guaranteed to crown a new EPT champion, and the €825,000 for first-place will be life-changing money for all of the remaining players.

Here is a look at the payouts for the remaining 8 players:

1    €825,000
2    €525,000
3    €300,000

5    €170,000
6    €130,000
7    €90,000
8    €70,000
