Second suspect arrested in Berlin poker robbery

Police announced they had arrested a second suspect in the March 6th robbery at the Hyatt Grand Hotel in Berlin. The 20 year-old suspect was taken into custody on Wednesday by German Police. The first suspect turned himself in to authorities and the case broke wide open from there.

Two suspects remain at large, Jihad Chetwie and Mustafa Ucarkus. Both are thought to have fled Germany shortly after the heist, and International Arrest Warrants have been issued. Both suspects have long rap sheets including violent crimes, and Bild.de is reporting Ucarkus was released from prison about a year ago.

Both men have Turkish roots; Chetwie is a German of Turkish descent, and Ucarkus is from Turkey and living in Germany.

Amazingly, all four suspects are in their teens to early twenties, which makes the crime all the more interesting: Little planning, inexperienced criminals, and horrid security.
