Partypoker announced last year that it was going to focus on rebuilding its brand and expanding its presence in the global online poker market. Partypoker was once one of the leading online poker companies in the world but after Black Friday lost a lot of its market share and fell behind.

The company has made a number of changes to its management as well as its policies and procedures in an effort to make its presence felt in the global online poker community once again. Partypoker brought on Mike Sexton in May 2017 as its new chairman and also made a number of changes to its online tournaments based on player feedback.

Partypoker Signs Fedor Holz

Partypoker recently announced that it had signed German poker pro Fedor Holz as its new ambassador. Holz has set the poker world on fire during the last four years as he has amassed more than $23 million in career prize money and is considered one of the best poker players in the world. His biggest win came at the 2016 World Series of Poker (WSOP) when he won the $ 111,111 No Limit Hold’em High Roller for One Drop event and took home more than $4.9 million in prize money.

Holz will not just serve as a partypoker ambassador and represent the brand at tournaments across the world but he will also be actively involved in providing his inputs to enable partypoker to develop formats for high roller events such as the Online High Roller Series and partypoker LIVE MILLIONS. Holz joins a high profile partypoker ambassador team which has the likes of Boris Becker, Sam Trickett, Anatoly Filatov, Dzmitry Urbanovich, Padraig Parkinson and Jonny Lodden.

Holz Convinced After Speaking With Patrick Leonard

The 24 year old German poker pro has a reputation in the poker community for being very selective with his endorsements and associations. Holz is reported to have spent a considerable amount of time discussing partypoker’s future plans his good mate Patrick Leonard who is also a partypoker ambassador. The British poker pro has been heavily involved in collecting partypoker player feedback and then working closely with partypoker management to implement these changes to make the partypoker gaming experience more player friendly.

Holz said that after speaking to Leonard he was convinced that partypoker had the best interests of its players in mind and was happy to be its new brand ambassador.
