Rumors have been swirling on Poker News Daily and at Pokerati.com about the new poker room at the Aria Hotel and Casino competing or replacing Bellagio’s “Bobby’s Room” as the place for high stakes poker in Las Vegas.
Well further evidence has come to light that this is indeed more than rumor and speculation, as the Aria has released an invite to Ivey’s Room, with an exclusive invitation-only $1,000,000 freeroll tournament!
It would appear that the Aria Casino has come to a financial agreement with the current king of poker, Phil Ivey, in an exclusive deal that would make the Aria Poker Room Ivey’s exclusive hangout –similar to the deal Daniel Negreanu struck with the Wynn Casino a few years back.
Of course, this is just further speculation, but all signs point to something big in the air above Sin City that could possibly displace the Bellagio as the poker capital of the city –just as Bellagio replaced the Mirage, which replaced The Golden Nugget, which replaced Binions!
