Kashyap wins PokerStars.net ANZPT Gold Coast
The 6th stop on this year’s PokerStars.net ANZPT was a $2,500 AUD buy-in tournament, and what started with 287 poker players taking to the felt on August 11th at the Conrad Jupiters Casino Gold Coast has concluded with Nauv Kashyap walking away with the trophy and nearly $183,000 AUD.
The action started fast and furious at the final table with seven players hitting the rail in just over 3 hours of play. However, the heads-up battle wouldn’t follow suit. Both players had the other all-in with a chance to win the title during the heads-up battle, as Nauv Kashyap and Ricky Kroesen battled for over 2 hours before Kashyap prevailed when his pocket Tens held up against Kroesen desperation push with K-2.
The complete final table results can be found below:
1. Nauv Kashyap – $182,965
2. Ricky Kroesen – $116,235
3. Liam O’Rourke – $64,575
4. Aaron Benton – $50,225
5. Joel Dodds – $41,975
6. Brad Wilson – $34,440
