Sparks Celebrity Charity Poker Night
The Sparks Celebrity Charity Poker Night Presented by The International Private Members Club.

Wednesday November 11th sees an evening of Poker, Prizes & Philanthropy as The International Private Members Club hosts a special charity evening for Sparks, the children’s medical research charity.
Sparks’ sole remit is to fund research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine. Their goal is for all babies to be born healthy and stay healthy.
Every day 70 babies are born in the UK with a life-threatening condition or an illness that will affect them and their families for life. Sparks aims to reduce this statistic so that all children have the chance of a healthy future.
The tournament will take place on the evening of the 11th November and will take the form of a special £20 rebuy. Several mystery celebrities will be in attendance and host for the evening will be PH Moriarty, better known as ‘Hatchet Harry’ of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels fame.
Tickets cost £80, of which £20 goes towards entry of the tournament. Guests will also be treated to a champagne reception and a gourmet buffet including beef and suckling pig from the award winning Ginger Pig butcher. For those who wish to bring their non-playing partners or friends, tickets for the reception and buffet can be purchased for £60. These tickets can be purchased either online at https://www.sparks.org.uk or in person at The International Private Members Club.
The venue, staff, buffet and champagne reception are all being generously donated by The International Private Members Club, so you can be confident that the whole cost of your ticket is going directly to Sparks.
Guests will be greeted at 6.30pm with the champagne reception before settling into their seats for the poker tournament which begins at 7.30pm. There will be a 90-minute unlimited-rebuy period with the option of a double add-on at the end of it. At this point, there will be a break for the gourmet buffet, during which there will be a charity auction and the opportunity for players to get a photo or two taken with their favourite celebs.
After the break, the tournament will resume in its freezeout stage and we will play on until we find the winner of the inaugural Sparks International Charity Tournament.
This event will be limited to 100 seats, so book early to guarantee your place.
