Fans of High Stakes Poker are undoubtedly used to the “run-it twice” request when all the money is in the middle, but how about Dario Minieri and Tom Dwan deciding to “run-it 4 times” on a flop of 2-10-3 with Minieri holding K-3 and Dwan holding K-10. Dwan was able to win all four of the deals, and Minieri decided to call it a night after losing the $344,000 pot.

In a more typical “run-it twice” scenario, Daniel Negreanu was felted again when Eli Elezra’s 7d8d bested Negreanu’s KsQs, making a straight on both boards.

Negreanu did recoup some of his losses when he got it all-in against Gus Hansen with bottom two pair against Hansen’s over-pair of Queens. After “running it twice” Negreanu scooped the $400k+ pot when Hansen couldn’t improve either time.

Later in the night, Phil Ivey and Jason Mercier got involved in a big pot on a board of 2-3-7; Mercier held Ah4h for an over-card, gut-shot, and runner-runner flush draw; Ivey had pocket 9’s, which held up when the turn brought a Queen, followed by an 8 on the river.
