Poker News BoyEvery week in the Friday Wrap we try to bring you a recap of the top stories from the world of poker, but occasionally we have to veer off-track and update our readers on some of the stories they may have missed over the course of the week. With so much going on in poker this week –Full Tilt rumblings, WPT and EPT tournaments, and a battle between PokerTableRatings and PokerStars—there were plenty of stories we were unable to bring you with the coverage they deserved, so in this installment of the Friday Wrap we’ll run down these stories as well as where you can find more info on each one of them.

Amarillo Slim fighting for his life

There have been mixed reports this week over the health of poker legend Amarillo Slim. Mike Sexton lays down the law

Sexton was both applauded and criticized for his effort, and days after the fact the topic is still alive and well on Twitter and the Internet poker forums.
