A few other talented poker players are also trying to achieve the same feat. They may succeed considering the fact that the WCOOP schedule comprises many more tournaments.

He had already won a WCOOP title in 2007 and a couple of SCOOP titles in 2012 and 2013. In January 2014, he bought into a TCOOP Razz tournament for $82 and became the first professional poker player to win the Triple COOP title.

Two days later, James “Andy McLEOD” Obst, an Australian poker player, won the Triple COOP title when he won the TCOOP HORSE tournament, which had a buy-in of $215. Two years later, a third player joined their ranks. Rui “RuiNF” Ferreira won the Triple COOP when he won the $215 buy-in Six-Max TCOOP tournament on Jan 29, 2016.

The fourth Triple COOP title winner was Fabrizio “SixthSenSe19” Gonzalez, a professional poker player from Uruguay. He completed the Triple COOP when he won the $215 buy-in Stud Poker Tournament. The fifth player to accomplish the feat was Mike “goleafsgoeah” Leah, a professional poker player from Canada.

He ended up with the Triple COOP title and also a cash prize of $47,520.

Yunis was delighted to have accomplished the Triple COOP and rated it as his biggest feat in his poker career till date. Several other poker players want to complete the Triple COOP this year. Thomas Muehloecker of Austria, who had won the SCOOP title in 2015 and the TCOOP title in 2017, is one of them.

Some of the others players looking to accomplish this rare feat are MarkBang of Hungary, Billy Chattaway of the UK, and Ninototoroko of Brazil. These players have also won SCOOP and TCOOP titles and want to add a WCOOP title to the list this year.
