It’s hard to believe that the 17th Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is set to begin on Wednesday August 4th 2010. The 34 tournament series will have a total guaranteed prize-pool of some $19 million, a number which is typically surpassed as players flock to the popular online poker room in hopes of winning one of the huge tournaments.

An exciting new wrinkle to the popular online poker tournament series is the inclusion of six Rush Poker tournaments –Full Tilt Poker’s latest innovation which has been the biggest addition to online poker since tracking software.

In addition to the prize-money, Full Tilt will also award prizes for players who make the final table of any FTOPS event, as well as bestowing some unique gifts on the winners. Players reaching the final table will receive a limited edition Full Tilt Poker jacket, and the event winners will each receive a custom Avatar for their Full Tilt Poker account as well as a gold Full Tilt Poker jersey.

The lucky, or should I skilled, player who winds up atop the FTOPS leader-board at the end of the tournament series will receive a prize-package that includes entry into every FTOPSXVIII except for the two-day tournament.
