Galfond bests Isildur1 in PLO session on PokerStars

What makes the Isildur1 signing at PokerStars so interesting is that unlike the signing of say Daniel Negreanu or other big-name poker players who are fairly scarce at the online poker tables, Isildur1 plays online poker, and plays a lot! Isildur1’s latest encounter on PokerStars saw him once again pitted against Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond –Galfond goes by the name of MrSweets28 on PokerStars—in a high-stakes $100/$200 PLO session. The session saw the two online poker pros go back and forth for over 5,000 hands before Galfond managed to win a couple of huge pots at the tail-end of the session to book a nice win in the $300,000 range. The win didn’t come without adversity for Galfond who Tweeted about the session: “Almost busted my Stars account, but managed to run good just before it was too late. Crazy swingy session. Run bad… run good… run very bad… run very good… sleep.” Galfond also allowed PokerStars blogger Simon Young to post his graph for the session which you can view here:  Phil Galfond Graph. With every passing day it seems PokerStars may have pulled off the biggest coup in online poker by signing the still unknown poker player from Sweden; with his style of play and the buzz surrounding him I dare say Isildur1 is more talked about than durrrr in online poker circles. Hopefully it brings more fish to PokerStars. As at the minute it not one of the easiest poker sites to win on.
