Isildur1, the mystery man who turned online poker on its head in late 2009 was back at it last night, mixing it up on the high stakes tables at Full Tilt Poker.

According to Cardplayer.com, Isildur1 was quickly found himself in the hole $90k, against Isaac “ILovetheWNBA” Haxton. Playing 8-tables of PLO –which is definitely Isildur1’s second best game—Haxton called it a night fairly early, at which point Isildur1 switched over to take on Justin “zeejustin” Bonomo at $200/$400 NLHE.

Isildur was able to alleviate Bonomo of over $500k before Justin asked to drop down to $100/$200 stakes, which the Swede declined. In all, Isildur1 logged 5,800 hands and was up over $700k: A very nice way to begin his comeback.

Isildur1 is best known for the incredible action he was able to generate in late 2009, winning and losing millions of dollars in less than a month’s time. During that span he was also able to generate the 10 largest pots in online poker history! A feat that makes it obvious why he became the darling of online poker.

If you looking to watch Isildur1, the best bet is to Download Full Tilt and watch him at the high stakes tables.
