MGM Resorts International launched two online gambling sites – and for the New Jersey market on August 1. This was a “soft launch” with limited uptime that went very well as the company and the state regulators did a great job in ensuring that everything was fine.

The two sites are now offering excellent online casino and online poker games for players in the Garden State. Having partnered with GVC Holdings, MGM has implemented GVC’s partypoker software for its online poker room.

New Jersey was the third state to legalize online gambling in America and online operators like 888/WSOP, PokerStars and Party Borgata are the main online poker networks in New Jersey. MGM jumped on the bandwagon last year by taking full ownership of the Party Borgata casino. Players who register at and will also be eligible for a number of cross promotions with other MGM properties. .

To kick start things, a solid promo is being launched by that offers $25 in free money as a sign-up bonus when an actual cash deposit is made. Out of this, $15 is tournament money while the remaining $10 is cash. Players should take note of the playthrough requirement. Players get a maximum of 7 days to earn their bonus which will be released in 10 percent increments.
