Most Popular Poker News Stories from 2009
2009 has come to an end, and it’s been a fairly busy year. So PokerNewsBoy (PNB) have compiled a list of the most popular poker news stories. 2009 was a good year if you where interested in keeping up with poker news and whats happening in the poker world.
We seen Phil Ivey make the final table of the WSOP, only to be knocked out by Darvin Moon (the lumber jack from the US who has never played online poker). We seen the introduction of the unknown online sensation Isildur1. Who in a space of 2 months destroyed nearly ever high stakes poker players on Full Tilt Poker, causing the online poker community to ask the question, Who is Isildur1?
Then we had the introdution of PokerNewsBoy to the online poker world as one of the top leading Poker News sites, just as one of the biggest online poker websites announced it will be closing its doors, PokerPages.com announcing its closing down was a big shock. However, we also found a new online poker site that seems to be offering its players something different, and putting the players first and profits second. That of course was the introduction of the online poker site, Gloss Poker, an online poker site that offers players upto $5000 deposit bonus and increadable 40% rakeback (use poker bonus code: GLOSS100 to get the $5000 deposit bonus and click here to get 40% Rakeback.)
