Rush Poker Tournaments now available on Full Tilt Poker
Full Tilt Poker’s recent innovation, Rush Poker, has become the crack-cocaine of poker cash games, and yesterday saw the popular online poker site add tournament poker to Rush Poker’s arsenal.
Rush Poker tournaments work in the same manner as Rush Poker cash games; when your hand is folded you are immediately transported to a new table and dealt a new hand. One difference that had to be made for tournament play –to prevent stalling—is which players will be designated as the small and big blind. In Rush Poker cash games this “honor?” goes to the player who has gone the most HANDS without being the blind; in Rush Poker tournaments the blinds are determined by the amount of TIME, which prevents players from stalling as the money bubbles approach.
As the tournament progresses play will become short-handed to keep the fast pace that Rush Poker is known for, until the final table is reached, at which point the tournament reverts to a typical poker tournament.
The poker world is quite interested in Rush Poker tournaments success/failure, but one thing is for certain, in 2010 Full Tilt Poker has been by far the most innovative online poker site in the industry, and Rush Poker has the potential to completely alter the online poker landscape.
