The main event of the PokerStars Spring Championships of Online Poker concluded last night when Sami Keluporo was crowned the champion. The event had a buy-in of $10,300 and came with a guarantee of $2.5million, but that was blown out of the water when a total of 380 players stumped up the cash to take part.

Former WSOP Main Event winner Jo Hachem just missed out on the final table when he was eliminated in 11th place, but he still collected $57,000 for his troubles. The final table featured our very own Internet Poker wizz kid, Toby Lewis but he was eliminated in sixth place, but he will not be disappointed as he cashed for $167,200. This left just five players and a deal was struck for the remaining prize money,  but play continued to decide the winner. It was not long until a heads-up battle commenced with Keluporo taking on Tagult.

Keluporo soon opened a commanding 10-1 chip lead but was pegged back time after time by Tagult, but after 90 minutes of great play that advantage was too much and Keluporo took down the title. Tagult actually won more money as he was leading at the time a deal was struck, and the payouts and placings of the final table are listed below.

Final Table Placings and Payouts SCOOP Main Event

1 – Sami “Lrslzk” Keluporo – $504,691.09
