Titan Poker adds prop bets in latest update

Even though poker is a game of skill and requires extreme amounts of discipline and patience by its practitioners (if they want to be successful anyway), poker players simply can’t seem to keep from betting on virtually anything –although we usually look for favorable odds while doing so! With this in mind one of the world’s leading poker sites, Titan Poker, has launched a new feature called BackBet, which allows players to make a number of different wagers on random events that will occur during the game.

As far as I can tell the wagers are equity-neutral, so they are being added more for their entertainment value than anything else –a welcome addition since even as fast-paced as online poker can be, it can still be a fairly boring, repetitive, game.

Amongst the prop bets players can now place are:

* Which cards will appear on the flop

* The color or suit will appear in the community cards

* What a player’s next pocket cards will be

The wagers must be placed using funds in the players account, NOT funds being used to participate in the game; likewise, any winnings will go directly into the players main poker account, NOT into their stack at the table.

In addition to the BackBet feature, Titan Poker’s latest software upgrade also features the following enhancements:

* A Quick Deposit Feature

* Hand History Replayer

* Auto Rebuy for Tournaments

* 7-Card-Stud hi/lo Cash Game Tables
