UB Online Championship 5 underway

Keeping pace with rivals Full Tilt Poker (FTOPS) and PokerStars (WCOOP and SCOOP) UB Poker’s signature tournament is now underway, marking the fifth chapter of the UB Online Championships.

This time around the UBOC will feature a total of 20 tournaments with a total guaranteed prize-pool of $4 million; the tournament series will be highlighted by a $1,000 buy-in Championship Event on Sunday August 29th that has a $1 million guaranteed prize-pool. With buy-ins that range from $150 up to $1,000 the UBOC gives players of almost any level a chance to participate in some events.

Running concurrently with UBOC will be the mini-UBOC, a 20 tournament series with much smaller buy-ins, for players whose bankrolls are not quite ready for tournaments with up to a $1,000 buy-in. The mini-UBOC tournaments begin at the same time as the UBOC tournaments, so it’s quite likely the big boys will also be participating in the mini-UBOC tourneys as well. Obviously these tournaments are far more economical than the UB Online Championship events, mini-UBOC buy-ins range from a mere $10, up to the $50 Championship event –which has a $50,000 guaranteed prize-pool.

For a complete UBOC and mini-UBOC schedule visit the UB Poker website.
