Vanessa Selbst: New member of Team PokerStars

The world’s largest online poker room, PokerStars, has announced its latest addition to Team PokerStars, Vanessa Selbst. Selbst isn’t just considered one of the best female poker players in the world, she is one of the best poker players in the world, and her results stack up with just about anyone.

Selbst will join one of the greatest collections of poker talent as a member of Team PokerStars Pro: Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Joe Cada, Joe Hachem, Bertrand “ElkY” Grosspiellier, Vanessa Rousso, Jason Mercier, Marcel Luske, and Lex Veldhuis.

At 25 Selbst has already won a World Series of Poker bracelet, captured the North American Poker Tour Championship at Mohegan Sun, and has over $1.7 million in career tournament earnings. Selbst has also had success in both live and online tournaments as well as in online cash games where she is considered one of the top heads-up No Limit Holdem players in the world.

The Yale law student is also one of the head instructors at the popular online poker training site Deuces Cracked, where she helps teach players how to improve their game. Selbst’s accomplishments both at and away from the poker tables make her a terrific addition to PokerStars growing stables of poker players.
