Poker News Daily has reported that they received an E-Mail from the Merge gaming network announcing the addition of Fantasy Poker, which will happen on January 31st. Current players on Fantasy Poker will have until the 31st to request their funds from the site, otherwise they will be transferred to the site’s new software on the Merge Poker Network. Poker news Daily is estimating a two-week down-time before the site is re-launched in mid-February.

Merge is one of the up-and-comers in the online poker world: A collection of small sites that would have very little traffic if they did not network together and pool their players. Some of the more popular sites on the network are Carbon Poker, Reefer Poker, and Aced Poker.

The Merge Poker Network does accept US players, and many of the sites offer rakeback deals through poker affiliates, giving the site high marks in the two most important categories to online poker players.
