Merge Poker Network prepares for influx of new players

As the Merge network prepares to add Sportbook, Superbook,Lock Poker and PlayersOnly to their roster of poker sites the network is preparing for what could be a 400%+ increase in player traffic. Currently ranked 20th in online poker traffic, the Merge Gaming Network has been occupying a no-man’s land of online poker; unable to compete with the top 10 sites, but maintaining enough traffic to be relevant. Merge is hoping the latest additions will change all of that.

The network has also announced plans to increase the Rakeback deals it currently offers to 35%, a move that is likely to draw in even more new customers, and giving the Merge Poker rooms offer some of the best rakeback deals and rake race in all of online poker.

The additions and changes are set to take place on April 15th, and undoubtedly Merge has been spending a lot of time upgrading their servers to handle the extra traffic. With that in mind new players to the network shouldn’t take any potential lag or frozen software as a sign of the how the network operates, but as a few kinks that will need to be worked as the new poker rooms, and a slew of new players, are added to the network.

We recommend if you are planning on joining the Merge Network, to join Carbon Poker, as we can offer 35% rakeback at Carbon Poker just by clicking this LINK, that tracks you to there rakeback programme once you sign up.

I want my old sportsbook poker back! As of today, the new client is slow as hell and a huge resource hog. STAY AWAY for now, at least. It’s amateur hour at Merge.
