Pokerstars Agree Deal To Start Poker Club

News was revealed yesterday that the worlds largest online poker room has completed a deal with Canadian broadcaster TSN that will see the two join forces to create a new custom build poker environment that will be make available to poker players from around the world.

The new project will enable players to enter a number of free tournaments that will be spaced over a 3 day period, giving players the opportunity to take down the prize pools that are on offer without having to stake a single dollar.

Pokerstars.net manager for Canada country Geoff Fardy issued a statement saying

“Poker’s popularity in Canada continues to grow and the TNS Poker Club gives poker players of all levels a chance to get into action and win exclusive prizes.”

The prizes that have been revealed by the online poker room Pokerstars include poker tables and branded snowboards just to name a couple.

The interest in the deal has been high via early indications but the real truth will be shown when the two finally open the club.
Shawn Redmond, vice president of marketing at TNS revealed what he had seen from the deal, saying

“Poker on TNS has always attracted a loyal and dedicated audience of fans who love the thrill of high stakes competition. The TNS Poker Club will give our fans the opportunity to get into the game with Pokerstars.net and their industry leading software and game selection as well as the chance to enter exclusive tournaments.”

The deal will see a large increase in Canada based players heading for the online poker room and so the deal is seen to massively benefit both parties involved.
