Early frontrunners in poker Player of the Year races
With several major tournaments already in the books, the 2013 Poker Player of the Year race is already starting to take shape. Even though it’s still early we plan on updating our readers on each on the three major POY races: Cardplayer Magazine, Bluff Magazine, and the Global Poker Index. A number of big names have already jumped out to excellent starts including Dan Shak, Scott Seiver, Sam Trickett, Patrik Antonius, and Vanessa Selbst.
After the WSOP concludes in July we will be creating an aggregate using all three POY races, as well as a couple of our own metrics, including the WSOP Player of the Year race and money won to create the PokerNewsBoy.com rankings.
