PokerStars pro Thor Hansen unveils autobiography

Aptly titled “Uncensored” the recently published autobiography of one of Norway’s most famous gamblers, will provide a revealing look into Thor Hansen’s 40+ years as a poker player, and will likely contain the wild stories we have come to expect from the old-school gambling icons.

Hansen is a two-time WSOP bracelet winner and a member of Team PokerStars Pro and despite having played poker for numerous decades before online poker became relevant the Norwegian pro holds the record for the most PokerStars WCOOP cashes all-time! Hansen has amassed an impressive $2.7 million in career tournament winnings, and has amassed an equal number of stories in that time-frame –which he imparts in his book.

Thor Hansen: Uncensored (Thor Hansen Usensurert: Millionene Som Forsvant, Jetsettlivet, Og Drammensrannet in Norwegian) is currently only available in Norwegian, but will be translated into other languages in due time. According to the PokerStarsblog post: “Hansen’s book – which includes tales of smuggling, robbery, murder, gambling addiction and sex – is only available in Norwegian at present but Norwegian players only can try winning a copy in a series of special ‘Thor Hansen bookclub’ tournaments online at PokerStars in November and December – see Hansen’s PokerStars page for details. Norwegian-speakers can also buy the book in the PokerStars VIP Shop for 2,750 FPP points.”
