On her FaceBook page, Tiffany Michelle confirmed the not-so-well-kept secret that Tiffany and fellow poker pro Maria Ho will be contestants on the upcoming season of The Amazing race on CBS.

Tiffany’s tweets and FaceBook updates hinted at the duo being chosen for the show: Tiffany’s updates included “On set”, “had a great time filming”, and other innocuous remarks that were lacking in specifics. When Maria Ho was spotted in an airport with othr “race” contestants by a reality show blogger the gig was all but up.

I am just guessing here, but based on the timing of Tiffany’s posts about being on set, and then her posts that returned to her normal routine, I would say the poker playing duo was not in contention during the race.

Tiffany and Maria’s appearance comes on the heels of Annie Duke on Celebrity Apprentice and John-Robert Bellande on Survivor: In addition to the plethora of poker related shows that have been hitting the airwaves as of late.
