Chris Moorman

Chris Moorman is a UK born young aggressive professional poker player. Chris first found his love for the game while he was at the University of Essex. As many professionals he just use to play with some friends but realised there was a lot more to poker than winning a few dollars against mates. Chris quickly migrated to online and started entering poker freerolls where he managed to build his bankroll up from scratch.

Chris boasts to have never have deposited in online poker and grinded his bankroll up from absolutely nothing. His first freeroll landed him $70 in chips and Chris has really never looked back. Chris started grinding through cash games and quickly found himself at the $1/$2 tables. This is when Chris really started to make a decent income online and found he could support himself from online poker.

Cash really wasn’t Moormans calling and he quickly moved to playing tournaments where he used his unique aggressive style to bully opponents around the table. If you have ever seen Moorman play you will know he is not scared to do anything in pretty much any situation. Moorman is self taught and has read a few poker books such as the poker classic “Harrington on Holdem”.

Chris has conquered the online world and by just searching the username Moorman1 you will find he has won a massive amount of money online. He has now turned his attention to live tournaments and has started to travel around the world to take part in the largest poker tournaments in the world. Currently his biggest live cash is a little over $38k but we can expect to see him do better than that in the coming years. Chris has recently signed a contract with Lock Poker after his cotract expired with DoylesRoom.
