Michael Mizrachi Bio
Michael Mizrachi has made a great name for himself in the poker scene. He has become one of the most well known of all poker players on the internet and is also well known and respected in the land based poker scene. He has become known by the name “The Grinder” and spends a lot of his time playing online. The very popular online poker site, PokerStars, is actually where he began earning a living by playing poker online.
It was Mizrachi’s older brother who originally got him into considering poker. However, it was his mother who has actually taught him how to play the game and she has said that she couldn’t be prouder of him. His brother did quite well at it and this caused him to consider poker for himself. He also has two other brothers who also play poker; it must run in the family. One impressive thing about Mizrachi is the fact that he was pretty successful at poker right from the start.
Michael Mizrachi played in his first ever live tournament in 2004. He then went on to earn consecutive seats in the WPT final tables in 2005. Mizrachi finished fifth in the World Poker Open. He also won the LA Poker Classic the following month. He even won the card Player 2006 Player of the Year award. When he had began touring he decided to purchase a tour bus so that he could bring his family with him while he was on the road.
