The world’s largest online poker room has just finished a software update with a number of interesting additions to the site. Most of the time we are confronted with that little “Software Update Available” box the changes are unnoticeable, but this time there are a number of new features that many players will be happy with.

The first parts of the updates are what PokerStars calls “Focus Improvements” and the new features include:

* New tournaments still automatically open, but will remain behind active tables until it is your turn to act.
* You have been moved to another table now appears as a message on the tournament table, and will stay in the background until it’s your turn to act.
* When your seat is available from a Waiting List you can now finish your current actions before deciding if you would like to take the seat.

Other additions include:

* An incremental time bank
* Expanded Notes section including color coding
* The players/flop column in the lobby can now be replaced with a VPIP column
* New Mixed Game called Triple Stud which is a combination of 7-Card Stud/7-Card Stud hi-lo/Razz

PokerStars has also added a number of minor changes/improvements to the software which can be viewed on the PokerStars Blog at www.PokerStarsblog.com.
