Lock Poker adds Felipe “Mojave” Ramos to roster
With the World Series of Poker in full swing Lock Poker has decided to bolster their roster of sponsored players by adding South American poker pro Felipe “Mojave” Ramos. The Brazilian is one of the most consistent and accomplished tournament players from South America in recent years, racking-up over $2.5 million in tournament earnings since 2008.
Ramos has cashed in tournaments all over the globe, including the World Series of Poker, the World Series of Poker Europe, the European Poker Tour, the World Series of Poker Circuit Series, as well as big scores in both the PokerStars WCOOP and the Full Tilt Poker FTOPS online tournament series.
Ramos has been dominating the Brazilian Series of Poker over the past year and a half, cashing in four events and making the final table in all four tournaments! Ramos has also been involved with the Brazilian National Poker Team, competing in the World Team Poker event for the International Poker Federation. Ramos has also been instrumental in getting poker recognized as a mind sport in Brazil ahead of the 2016 Olympics.
“Felipe is another excellent addition to the Lock family! He is fiery and passionate in everything he does. He throws his heart, soul and mind into the game without a hesitation,” says Jennifer Larson, CEO of Lock Poker. “He is going to take Lock into a whole new world as we move to dominate the South American market. With Felipe, and the LockPRO army of brilliant minds beside us, we will succeed. Partnering with our Players is the only path to being the best and only choice!”
“I am incredibly happy to be part of the Lock Poker family and join such a great team with the best players in the world. I started playing poker trying to follow their steps and now I have the privilege to be on their side,” says Ramos. “Also, to join a serious company and a great poker site is a dream come true and I am looking forward to representing Lock Poker and honor our brand in Brazil, South America and around the world. Thank you Lock for this amazing opportunity.”
Ramos joins an ever-growing roster of sponsored pros by Lock Poker, and brings even more of an international flair to the site’s roster. Ramos will join the likes of Leo Margets, Melanie Weisner, Paul Volpe, Jeff Romano, Michael Drummond, Matt Stout, Eric Lynch, Annette Obrestad, Chris Moorman, Kevin Vandersmissen, Jared Hubbard, Casey Jarzabek, and a slew of other standout poker players.
