The results from the first ever Pokerstars UKIPT event are in and it’s Padraig Parkinson who has taken down the 125,000 euro first place prize money. The tournament started with a field of 259 runners which made the total prize pool 471,400 euros. A assize 116 of the total field qualified online at Pokerstars via the many UKIPT satellites they have been running. Day 2 of the PokerStars UKIPT Galway has came to an end, and it has been a very interesting day. For starters we had the surprise addition of Football legend Teddy Sheringham turning up for day 2 after a mix up at the Airport the day before. The two largest chip stakes in the tournament have now been moved to the same table. Padriag Parkinson and Flipper Walsh would be the 2 largest chip stakes left in the UKIPT Galway, both with over 160k in chips. After a crazy opening hour at Padraig table that saw him knock out no less that 3 players, and chip up to chip leader. After coming back for day 2 fairly short stacked, Stevie (Allinstevie) Devlin found himself down to about 15 big blinds.
