Day 2 of the third Epic Poker League Main Event began with Erik Seidel as the chip-leader, headlining the field of 61 of the world’s best poker players. However, Seidel was eliminated in 32nd place on Day 2, ending his chance to make his third straight Epic poker League Main Event final table.

Taking Seidel’s place as the chip-leader at the end of Day 2 was poker pro Noah Schwartz, whose 352,200 chips slightly edged out Faraz Jaka (341,100) and David Williams (336,800). Rounding out the Top 5 are two of the biggest names in the game in Mike “The Grinder” Mizrachi and Vanessa Rousso.

The third EPL Main Event is being played as a Mix-Max tournament, where each day the maximum number of participants at each table diminishes (on Day 1 the tables were 8-handed, Day 2 saw 7-handed tables, and Day 3 will be played 6-handed).

Here is a look at the Top 10 chip counts heading into Day 3 of the third Epic poker League Main Event:

1. Noah Schwartz — 352,200

2. Faraz Jaka — 341,100

3. David Williams — 336,800

8. Chris Klodnicki — 254,900

9. Amit Makhija — 251,800

In 12th place heading into Day 3 is Player of the Year contender Sam Stein, while two former Player of the Year winners, Eric Baldwin and Sorel Mizzi, are lurking a little farther down the leader-board.
