After having a day poker players only dream about on Day 2, Victor Ramdin will be taking a massive chip-lead into Day 3 of the NAPT Los Angeles The Big Event taking place at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles.

Ramdin soared to 1,050,000 chips –more than double his nearest competitor who has 505,000— after starting the day with just 81,000 chips, thanks to a rush of big hands, coolers, and of course a few timely suckouts.

The Big Event still has 70 players remaining in the hunt for the $500,000 first prize, and 14 of those players will be going home empty-handed on Day 3 as only the top 56 players will make the money.

Here is a look at the Top 10 Chip Counts heading into Day 3 of The Big Event:

1.    Victor Ramdin — 1,050,000
2.    Jamie Kaplan — 505,000
3.    Chris DeMaci — 465,000
4.    Tyler Cornell — 410,000
5.    Daniel Negreanu — 360,700

8.    Ryan Hughes — 265,000
9.    Shawn Busse — 245,000

In addition to the above players some other big names still in the hunt include, Brunson 10 member Alex “AJKHoosiers” Kamberis, Yevegniy Timoshenko, online pro George Lind III (who recently lost his record as the fastest player to reach Supernova Elite to Andrew ‘azntracker’ Li), Casey Jarzabek, Masa Kagawa, David Baker, 2005 WSOP Champion Joe Hachem, Amit Makhija, and 2010 WSOP breakout performer Vladimir Shchemelev.
