Earlier this week we detailed the nominees for the 2011 British Poker Awards, and now it’s time to put on our prognostication hats and make our selections in the thirteen separate categories that make up the 2011 BPA’s.

Our choice = Erik Seidel

* Reader’s Choice: Best Cash Player

Our choice = Sam Trickett (Google Sam Trickett + Macau and you’ll see why!)

* Reader’s Choice: Best Mixed Game Player

Our choice = Richard Ashby

* Reader’s Choice: Best PLO Player

Our choice = Ben Grundy

* Reader’s Choice: Best Tournament Player

Our Choice = Jake Cody (Triple Crown, need we say more?)

* Reader’s Choice: Best Social Media User

Our Choice = Dale “Daleroxxu” Philip

* Reader’s Choice: Best Blogger

Our choice = James Atkin (www.atkinator.net)

* Reader’s Choice: Best Online Player

Our choice = Chris Moorman (even if he didn’t play online for two years he still wins!)

* Reader’s Choice: Best Poker League

Our choice = Poker in the Pub

* Reader’s Choice: Best Poker Forum

Our choice = 2+2 Poker Forum (proving once again that size matters!)

* Reader’s Choice: Best Contribution to Poker

Our choice = Simon Trumper (what a long strange trip it’s been for “Aces”)

* Reader’s Choice: Poker Personality of the Year

Our choice = Liv Boeree (she seems to be everywhere these days)

* Player of the Year

Our choice = Chris Moorman (Nobody has done more online and live over the past 12 months than Moorman)
