UKIPT Schedule Announced In Full
The PokerStars UKIPT schedule has been released by Pokerstars and it looks like it’s going to be an absolute cracker. There are 8 events currently penciled in with a ninth event expected to be added soon which will take place in Scotland. The UKIPT schedule currently includes events in both England and Ireland including the Irish Poker Championship as well as
EPT London. The UKIPT is expected to take over as the UK and Irelands premier poker tour and all events in season 1 are predicted to sell out very quickly.
The full UKIPT schedule can be viewed using the previous link. The tour will kick off in Galaway Ireland on December the 8th. This event is also the Irish Poker Championship. The buy in is €2,000 and there is a 400 player cap meaning the prize pool will be in excess of €500,000. Event two doesn’t take place until the new year in Manchester. After the Manchester events the UKIPT visits Coventry, Nottingham, Killarney, Brighton, Dublin and London for the EPT and UKIPT grand final. Players who win any of the
events in the build up to EPT London will be given a free London EPT package.
Satellites are running on Pokerstars right now for the UKIPT Galaway event and will run for every event on the UKIPT schedule. Super satellites start at as little as $2 so no matter what your bankroll you can give qualification a crack. Players who have managed to obtain Platinum status on the Pokerstars VIP ladder can buy directly into UKIPT
events online using their W$ if they want to. You must email Pokerstars to arrange this.
If you are planning your live poker trips around the UKIPT then make sure you decide which events you are going to attend soon. All events are expected to sell out extremely quickly and even though player caps are as much as 700 for some events places are predicted to go like hot cakes. Get over to Pokerstars as soon as you can and start trying toqualify to ensure you book your place in this years UKIPT.
Rumors are already suggesting that season 2 of the UKIPT, expected to start around the back end of 2010, will see an addition of at least 3 events to the UKIPT schedule. Players in the UK and Ireland have never had it so good. Live poker is on the up and the Pokerstars UKIPT is leading the way!
