Since its inception the Bounty Shootout style tournaments held at virtually every stop of the PokerStars NAPT tournament series have been wildly popular amongst poker’s elite, and the $5,000 6-Max tournament held at the PCA was no exception as 216 poker players registered for the tournament.

Day 1 of the tourney took place on Thursday and saw the field trimmed down to just 36 players all of whom would receive $10,000 (plus any bounties collected) for winning their opening round table. Yesterday the remaining players were reseated knowing that another win would put them through to the final table.

Here is a look at the six players who won their Round 2 table, and locked up $30,000 in prize-money:

·    Michael Binger 150,000
·    Scott Baumstein 150,000
·    Marko Neumann 150,000
·    William Pilossoph 150,000
·    Shaun Deeb 150,000
·    Andrew Chen 150,000

With all 6 players guaranteed $30,000 –there is no difference in prize-money between 6th and 2nd place- only the winner of the PCA Bounty Shootout tournament will earn any more than that, slated to make $200,000.

Of course, for each player you eliminate you collect a $1,000 bounty, so it’s likely that anyone making it to the final table has collected a few bounties along the way as well as the prize-money from the tournament’s prize-pool.
