Where can American Players Play Online Poker?

A question that is on many a players lips in America, and the rest of the world for that matter,  is that of where can I play online poker? Well here at PokerNewsBoy we have done our best to try and find the best places available for American players to play. The problem US poker sites (an players) is going to have is the transactions. Depositing is going to be harder and cashouts for Americans are going to take longer than ever before.

ClubWPT – ClubWPT is a different way to play online poker.  They are a poker membership (subscription) site and are 100% legal in the US.  You can either get a free player account or a VIP player account for under $20 month.  Then you can compete for over $100,000 a month in cash and prizes.  Sign up now for a FREE 2 week trial of their VIP membership.  This is interesting as it may be the only option for US poker players as the US poker sites that are left are having delays in payment processing.

*Lock Poker is part of the Merge Network and they are  offering a great signup bonus of 200% up to a total of $1,200. They have recently signed up Portuguese poker prodigy Jose Macedo and player numbers are on the increase since the poker scandal earlier this month. They have lots of other different promotions running as well, all with cash prizes available including daily freerolls which are a great way for new players to build up their bankroll. They have a great rakeback deal on offer with all monies earned paid into your account on a daily basis, unlike some sites where you get it paid at the end of each month.

You should try BetOnline instead of Lock as Lock no longer exists. You can read some BetOnline Reviews here.

Bodog is another site that is accepting players from the USA and they can offer a 100% bonus for all new players up to a maximum of $1,000. Bodog Poker offers guaranteed tournaments daily with nearly $4 million in prize money on offer each and every month. They have a great variety of games on offer and whatever your standard of play you are sure to find something that suits your game.

Carbon Poker is another site that many of you will of heard of but probably thought because of their American connections were not accepting US players, but they are. All US and International players are welcome at Carbon Poker, where you can claim an initial bonus of 100% up to $600, and they are on the expanding Merge Network just like Lock Poker.

Well there are a few more sites that i would like to mention – 888poker, Partypoker and friends – three of the online poker sites that are receiving the largest share of traffic since the fall of FTP. 888poker is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is regulated by the stipulated gambling rules which makes it one of the safest places to play online poker without fear.

  2. Update* – Merge have again opened up to US poker players. So you can now again play on Lock Poker and Carbon Poker.
