wpt logoA total of 351 players registered for the latest stop on the World Poker Tour (WPT) the WPT BestBet Open which is currently taking place in Jacksonville, Florida, and after two full days of action the tournament is now down to just 25 players, with some very impressive names contending for the title and the $321,521 payday that will be awarded to the winner.

Leading the way heading into Day 3 will be poker pro David Diaz, who is sitting on a stack of over 1.7 million. Diaz will take a commanding lead into Monday, as his nearest competitor Michael Linster has just over 800,000 chips. Still, Diaz will have to square-off against some very stiff competition considering players like David “Doc” Sands, Tony Cousineau, Anthony Spinella, John Dollinger, Matt Salsberg, Dan Buzgon, and Matt Giannetti are still in the hunt.
