$1,500 7-Card-Stud and $5k NLHE enter final day

Two tournaments are scheduled to wrap-up at the World Series of Poker on Saturday: The $1,500 Seven-Card-Stud tournament (Event #5) and the $5,000 No Limit Holdem tournament (Event #4).

In the $5k NLHE tournament there are still 43 players remaining –which may cause the tournament to spill over into a fourth day of play due to the new WSOP rule that stops all tournaments after 10 levels of play on any single day—and amongst the remaining players are some very recognizable names. Here is a look at the Top 10 chip-counts heading into Day 3:

1. Brian Lemke – 960,000

2. Allen Bari – 686,000

3. Ricky Fohrenbach – 642,00

4. Sergey Rybachenko – 614,000

5. Markus Gonsalves – 567,000

6. Peter Gilmore – 525,000

7. Michael Hahn – 493,000

8. Steven Levy – 466,000

9. Simon Charette – 464,000

10. Richard Lyndaker – 417,000

Other notables still in the field include Jonathan Little, Matt Glantz, JC Tran, Carlos Mortensen, Farzad Bonyadi, Tim West, Bernard Lee, and Maria Ho.

The $1,500 7-Card-Stud tournament will see 12 players retake the Rio poker tables on Saturday with a couple of red-hot players at the top of the leader-board in Eugene Katchalov and Alessio Isaia. Here is a look at the chip-stacks the 12 remaining players will take into Saturday’s action:

2. Eric Buchman – 220,500

3. Eugene Katchalov – 212,500

4. Kai Landry – 200,000

5. Jonathan Spinks – 133,000

6. Dennis Parker – 123,500

7. Vasili Lazarou – 102,500

9. Ali Eslami – 77,000

10. Arash Ghaneian – 77,000

11. Ylon Schwartz – 70,000

12. Jeremy Ausmus – 69,500
