If concern started to grow after the $1k No Limit Holdem came in slightly under last year’s attendance numbers these fears were quickly squashed when the $1,500 NLHE 6-Max tournament shattered last year’s attendance number by 257 entrants!

A total of 1,920 players registered for the tournament on Day 1, ballooning the prize-pool to a massive $2,592,000, with the winner set to receive a $544,388 payday.

If you like fast paced tournaments this was the one for you, considering by the end of the day only 188 players were left in the tournament –just eight more eliminations and the tournament would have burst the money bubble on Day 1!

Here is a look at the top 10 chip counts from the $1,500 6-Max NLHE tournament heading into Day 2:

1. Anthony Spinella – 223,000

2. Ryan Welch – 156,300

3. Bryan Colin – 128,100

4. Elliott Zaydman – 119,300
