WSOP Little One for One Drop draws 4,746 entrants

wsop 2013Yesterday I explained my reasoning as to why the Little One for One Drop tournament might see a smaller turnout on Day 1b than the 2,233 entries that played on Day 1a of the event. Well it turns out I was both right and wrong: I was wrong in that Day 1b exceeded the Day 1a turnout, but I was right in couching my thoughts, and saying it “might” eclipse the Day 1a turnout.

By the end of the rebuy period the tally for Day 1b stood at 2,523 players, putting the final number at 4,746 for the tournament. The 588 players who survived Day 1b will now be combined with the 432 survivors from Day 1a when the tournament resumes on Friday.
