With just five players taking advantage of the late registration period on Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit Series Regional Championship in New Orleans, the $10k buy-in tournament maxed-out at a disappointing 75 entries.

With the small field size, only the final eight players in the tournament will cash, with the winner walking away with $237,456 boost to their bankroll –which should come in very handy right before the World Series of Poker gets underway at the end of the month!

After two days of play the WSOPC Regional Championship is now down to just two tables, with a number of poker’s top tournament players still in the hunt for the title, including Allie Prescott, Shannon Schorr, Steve Brecher, Allen Kessler, Adam Levy, and Kyle Bowker.
