Tony Hachem, younger brother of 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Joe Hachem, outlasted a field of 221 players to become the first champion of the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour’s Perth event. Hachem will pocket an impressive $132,750 AUD for the win.

Hachem, a PokerStars pro player for Australia, has owned the ANZPT so far, cashing in all but one of the tour’s tournaments since its inception in February 2009.
