Yesterday saw the 2011 EPT London Min Event play down to the final table of eight competitors, and even though none of the big names in poker were able to make it to the Thursday’s final table, you can still expect some serious fireworks as players like Benny Spindler, Kevin Iocafano, Juan Manuel Pastor, and Mattias Bergstrom look for the first major title.

Here is a look at the chip counts heading into the final day of the EPT London Main Event:

1. Martins Adeniya – 4,736,000

2. Mattias Bergstrom – 3,620,000

3. Benny Spindler – 3,435,000

4. Andre Klebanov – 2,730,000

5. Kevin Iacofano – 2,685,000

6. Juan Manuel Pastor – 1,915,000

7. Steve O’Dwyer – 1,250,000

8. Miroslav Benes – 370,000

While the Main Event winds down, another tournament that many players highlighted on the schedule was getting underway: the £20,000 buy-in High-Roller event. Last year Jose “Nacho” Barbero won the tournament, and £556k, which saw a total of 77 entrants. This time around attendance dropped off ever so slightly as 75 players registered for the event, with a first place prize of £511,300.

With all of the big names who entered the tournament, it’s no surprise that names like Olivier Busquet, Titan Poker pro Sam Trickett (click here for the best Titan Poker bonus code), and Michael Tureniec found their way to the final table. Here is a look at the final table chip counts heading into today’s action:

1. Robert Akery – 710,000

2. Igor Kurganov – 690,000

3. Adrian Bussman – 495,000

4. Michael Tureniec – 425,000

5. Samuel Trickett – 365,000

6. Philipp Gruissem – 365,000

7. Joel Nordkvist – 357,000

8. Olivier Busquet – 325,000
