Throughout Day 2 of the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) Faraz “The Toilet” Jaka seemingly could not lose a hand, at one point holding over 1 million chips, more than double his nearest opponent. While the bout of Jerry Yang run-good didn’t last the entire day, it still put Jaka at the top of the leader-board heading into Day 3, with his 902,500 chips well ahead of the #2 man on the chip-counts Cristian Folescu and his 555,500 chips.

On Day 2 the field went from 554 players at the start of the day to just 183 players by the end of the night’s action. With just 23 spots to go before the money-bubble is burst it shouldn’t take too long on Tuesday to see which players will go home empty-handed and which players will win at least $15,000 in prize-money.

In addition to Jaka a number of other big name players also managed to survive Day 2’s action. Canadian poker pro and former MMA fighter Eric Cajelais finished with the third highest chip-count at the end of Day 2, with Arnaud Mattern, Andrew Badecker, Leo Fernandez, Luca Pagano, 2010 PCA Champion Harrison Gimbel, Joao Nunes, Tommy Vedes, Byron Kaverman, 2011 PCA Champion Galen Hall, William Reynolds, Casey Kastle, 2011 WSOP November Niner Phil Collins, David Benefield, Barry Shulman, Adam “Roothlus” Levy, Randy “nanonoko” Lew, Carlos Mortensen, Shane Schleger, Shawn Buchanan, Gualter Salles, Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger, Leif Force, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, PGA golfer Sergio Garcia, Barry Greenstein, Noah Boeken, Liv Boeree, Juan Manuel Pastor, Pat Pezzin, Bill Chen, David Peters, Chris Klodnicki, and JC Alvarado all still in the hunt.

Here is a look at the Top 10 chip counts entering Day 3 of the tournament:
