When online poker players think about high stakes poker action the first site that comes to mind is usually Full Tilt Poker or PokerStars, but there is a new player on the high-stakes poker scene: Carbon Poker!

Carbon Poker recently added some high stakes tables to the site, and so far the play has been fast and furious. The stakes added were $100/$200, $200/$400, and $300/$600 No Limit Texas Holdem. The new games have seen some very sizable pots already, including an $116,399.50 win by long-time Carbon Poker high-roller JimmyTheGimme. Despite winning the largest pot in Carbon Poker history, JimmeTheGimme seems to haves some serious competition in a new player to the Carbon Poker tables, goingibiza. Goingibiza has some pretty sizable wins himself, having taken pots worth $81,599.50, $84,462.16, $66,317.50 off of JimmeTheGimme.

The matchups between JimmeTheGimme –who was widely considered the top-dog on Carbon Poker— and goingibiza have been drawing a lot of attention to the Carbon Poker tables, and so far it has been goingibiza getting the better of his opponent; challenging him for the title of Carbon Poker Alpha-Dog.

It seems that CarbonPoker is fast becoming the new online poker room to play high stakes poker with plenty of loose, easy, action.
