Cash Game Festival To Stop In Dublin For The First Time In Octobe

The Cash Game Festival was launched in 2014 by poker pro Martin von Zweigbergk and Betsafe poker manager Enri Orav to create a poker event for cash game players since most of the other poker events did not give cash game players a lot of priority and kept the focus on tournament events. The cash game festival received a great response and encouraged the founders to host more such games in the coming months.

Estonia’s capital city, Tallinn has played host to a number of cash game festivals during the last few years and so has London’s Aspers Casino. The founders impressed by the success of the cash game festivals decided to expand its presence from 5 stops in 2016 to 9 stops in 2017. One of those stops will be in Dublin, Ireland this October.

Cash Game Festival – Dublin

The Cash Game Festival will visit Dublin for the first time and will take place at the Village Green Card Club from October 11 to 15. This will also be the first time that the festival will take place at an exclusive poker club. There will be 120 hours of exciting poker action and a party atmosphere as amateur and professional poker players in the UK are expected to book themselves a place at the table.

The Cash Game Festival has also made it a habit to have televised feature tables taking place on 6 pm and 9 pm on their Twitch Channel. PokerNews which covered previous stops of the Cash Game Festivals will also be present in Dublin and will embed the feature tables coverage into their coverage.

The Village Green Card Club is one of the most popular poker rooms in the city and is exciting to be hosting the first ever Cash Game Festival in Ireland. JP McCann who owns the Green Card Club says that it is his goal to bring top poker tournaments to Dublin and hopes that the Cash Game Festival will make his club a part of their regular stops going forward. The success of the 2017 Dublin festival will determine if the Cash Game Festival returns in 2018.

Cash Game Festival – Prior Stops

The Cash Game Festival has once again had a successful year in 2017 with stops in Feb and Sep at the Aspers Casino in the UK, a visit in March to the Perla Casino in Slovenia, followed by a stop in April at the Olympic Park Casino in Estonia. The tour then went in May to the Sunborn Casino in Gibraltar followed by a stop in June at the Casino Malta by Olympic Casino in Malta. The action headed to Bulgaria in August with a stop at the Platinum Casino in Sunny Beach.

Cash Game Festival – Remaining Stops

The Cash Game Festival will visit Ireland in October and then head over to the Olympic Park Casino in Tallinn, Estonia for one final stop in 2017. The final stop in Tallinn will take place from November 15 to 19.
