First real incident of day 2 at the UKIPT Galway

In one of the biggest incidents since the start of day 2, probably since the start of the tournament, Matei Daniel lost most of his chips due to a mis-communication.

I don’t know exactly how the action went, but on a board Ac,Kc,8c,Ad,5s Matei was forced to fold his hand after he had ran out of time when a player called the clock. The hand he was holding was A,8.

His opponent on the river made a verbal allin, however Matei never heard the allin call and when one of the players calls for time, he assumes it on his other player. Once the clock runs down and Matei see’s the dealer go to much his cards, he cause an arguement and fuss as he turns over his A,8.

At the minute Matei has left the building, if and when he returns to play the small stack is any ones guess. However, I’m sure he will be tilting.
