AGCC move Full Tilt Poker hearing to Sept 19

In a very short statement issued on Monday September 5th, 2011, the Aldernay Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) announced they would be moving the date for the public Full Tilt Poker hearing from September 15th to September 19th. Due to the brevity of the statement no reason or even implication was given for the postponement.

The hearing was originally scheduled to take place on July 26, 2011, but no sooner had the hearing been called to order than the team of Full Tilt Poker attorneys made a request to adjourn the hearing, and requested to talk specifics in private. After a small uproar when the request to meet privately was accepted (remember this was scheduled as a public hearing) the principles returned a few hours later and cited ongoing negotiations as the reason for a postponement of the hearing to no later than September 15, 2011.

There has been a lot of communication from Full Tilt Poker in the past week or so, but it’s unclear if there are any serious investors remaining at this time, or if the small shakeup in the Full Tilt Poker attorney team is to blame is to blame for the four-day delay. Here is a look at the AGCC’s statement in full:

The hearing will reconvene at 0900 on Monday 19th September, 2011. The hearing will be held in the Plaza Suite at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel, 18 Albert Embankment, London, SE1 7TJ.

As before, those wishing to attend are requested to contact the AGCC on +44 (0)1481 825500 or via info@agcc.gg
