Full Tilt Poker answering questions on 2+2

After months of silence Full Tilt Poker finally came out from under the rock they were hiding last week and issued a statement on the ongoing talks with potential investors the site is currently engaged in. While the statement was short, and lacking any specifics, this first step has led to even more communications between the ailing online poker site and the poker community, as Full Tilt Poker’s attorney Jeff Ifrah has created a 2+2 poker forum account and has been answering candid questions all weekend.

While Ifrah has not revealed any earth-shattering news, he has answered several direct questions such as whether Ray Bitar is still the CEO of Full Tilt Poker (the answer to that question is YES by the way), and if the site has rejected any offers by outside investors, which Ifrah answered by saying: “No, I cannot confirm this and do not believe it is true. I am not aware of a satisfactory deal that has been offered and rejected. The company statement will address this in more detail.”

Ifrah also addressed the company’s silence over the past few months, citing a confidentiality agreement. Ifrah went on to say that now that the exclusive negotiation period is over the company can now be more communicative with the poker world, to which Ifrah implied the poker community can expect a number of statements in the coming days and weeks.

While it appears that no headway has been made on the repayment of funds to their players, hopefully the recent statement and the communication by Ifrah will pave the way to a better understanding of what is happening with the site.
