Released on April Fool’s Day, fans going in search of Episode 4 of Jay Rosenkrantz’s and John Wray’s animated poker series The Micros were thrown us a bit of a curveball if they visited Bluff Magazine as a gag video was released prior to the real thing. However, even if you didn’t find the “Fricke-Rolled” video funny, which it is, then The Micros more than made up for it with what was in my opinion their best episode since the pilot.

The episode picks up with Chase “SwedeTooth” Berger taking on Max Rofls –the Full Tilt Red Pro who refers to Chase as the “Luckboxen”—in their HeadsUp4ROLLZ match. There is a lot of comedy throughout the 7-minute video episode –although you might need to have a decent understanding of German to get all of the jokes—where Chase is the main focus of the episode.

You’ll also learn what has become of the player that Chase hit his 1-outer against in the winner takes all Mega Millions tournament that brought the trio of micro-stakes players into the world of high-stakes poker.

The other developing plotline where Rose “Balls” Ballenger is on the run after escaping from her problem gamblers mental hospital was only touched upon, with Rose camped out in the Australian outback with the kangaroo she escaped on.
